Winemaker’s Notes
Warm vintages, such as 2015, remind me once again of how thankful I am to have a half acre of our vineyard with a Northwestern draw. The cool conditions in this special corner produce grapes with crisp, clean acidity. The winemaking team is in agreement – the ’15 is the best Riesling we have produced to date. The nose entices you with riveting aromas of ripe bosc pear and golden delicious apples. The wine is simply mouthwatering with a delightful balance of moderate richness and a core of taught acidity.
